WE WANTED TO MAKE SOMETHING THAT WAS BOTH FUNCTIONAL AND AESTHETICALLY PLEASING. THE IDEA SPAWNED FROM A VISIT TO A FRIEND’S PLACE FOR AN EVENING OF FUN, AND WHEN THE TIME CAME TO PARTAKE IN THE EVENING’S FESTIVITIES, A SHOEBOX WAS PULLED OUT AND LAID ON THE COFFEE TABLE. THE BOX WAS FULL OF LOOSELY STREWN BOTTLES AND PARAPHERNALIA AND IT LOOKED RATHER JUVENILE. THE QUEST TO MAKE SOMETHING BETTER BECAME OUR MISSION, AND THAT MISSION CONTINUES TODAY.

THE CANNADOR® DEFINED

A uniquely designed marijuana storage box for short and long-term storage, Cannador® preserves your top shelf by controlling humidity at the perfect ratio to maintain freshness and taste. Clear glass jars and clear plastic containers let in UV light, which damages the trichomes that contain cannabinoids. A dark and controlled humid environment is ideal, but it cannot be too humid. If it is more than 75% relative humidity (RH), your bud will run the risk of supporting mold growth, something a traditional cigar humidor has the potential to do.

THE INTERIOR

The interior is made of solid mahogany versus cedar. Mahogany better controls humidity and does not produce any residue or odors and oils that cedar imparts. It is also resistant to swelling and shrinking under changes in relative humidity providing stability for the long term. Your choice of exterior is either walnut or cherry.

SIZES

We offer various sized Cannador®’s that hold different amounts. Starting from the smaller 2-Strain and going all the way to the larger 6-Strain, we sell various sizes that cater to your needs. Whether you’re someone who likes to dabble or are a serious connoisseur who likes to keep at least 5-6 strains on hand at any given point, we have the products to fit your lifestyle.

VaporBeads

We tested a variety of humidification options to maintain humidity levels including ceramics and sponges, but none were as reliable as VaporBeads. What makes VaporBeads so special is its ability to control the environment by absorbing and releasing humidity as needed, so the RH will never go above a specific ratio. Sponges or ceramics don’t control the humidity but rather emit all of its moisture until it is depleted, leaving the environment too humid. If the environment is too humid, the risk of mold contamination will greatly increase. What we like most about VaporBeads is its sustainability. All you need to do is dip into water (up to the first opening slat on the bead case) once a every few weeks and your environment will stay between 55% and 65% RH.

BOVEDA® PACKS

Boveda® packs offer an alternate solution to humidity that is both consistent and effortless. This method of humidification requires no work. Simply set it and forget it, and when the pack starts to turn hard, that means it’s time to replace. We’ve seen great results with Boveda® products for long-term curing. Our Cannador® humidors require at least two 60g packs, however, we highly recommend using them in a Miron® jar. They’re extremely efficient in jars given that the wood from the humidor products absorbs the moisture that it emits and therefore this results in a slightly lower relative humidity than 62% RH.
